Sacrifice

The Texas Democrats, man they are a great example. Some may scoff at that statement, but they really are a great example. They are a great example of what a group of politicians look like when they believe those who are supporting them are completely stupid and unread, and when they believe that their supporters will see them as brave heroes who had to leave the state in order to protect the right to vote, which the Republicans are obviously trying to take away. Once these great selfless martyrs arrived in Washington, they really proved how stupid they thought their supporters were by singing "We Will Overcome". Don't you know their hearts were filled by hearing their own beautiful voices singing a song that offered them hope just after they had gotten out of the two private jets they flew on to get to Washington, especially after they had to struggle to carry their own Miller Lite on the trip in order to save the taxpayers money; the sacrifice! I am sure the beer on the private plane would have been much more expensive. They were not the party that went to Washington, they are the Democrats who went to Washington to party. They felt confident that none of their supporters would read the legislation, because if they did read it they would find that the Republican inspired legislation expands the opportunity to vote by increasing the times for voting, still allows drive-thru voting for those who need it, adds days for early voting, requires voter ID but allows even expired ID, or, for some things, a signed affidavit claiming you are who you say you are is suffice, and still allows mail in voting. What does the legislation do? It clarifies wording so that lawyers cannot exploit those words in order to legally say fraud is not fraud. It changes words like "may" to "shall", that doesn't seem like much but it is. In the 2020 election, we witnessed things, live with our own eyes, in Georgia and Philadelphia and other places such as observers being blocked from viewing what they were supposed to observe, large numbers of mail in ballots without envelopes, aggregated voter registration, and election rule interpretation happening on the fly by city secretaries. All of these things were covered by laws, but were written in a common sense way so that people who were interested in following the laws would understand their intent and would follow them, but the laws had no chance against the Democrat attorneys that were paid millions to come in before the election to exploit those laws so that no fraud would be committed, based on the letter of the law. See, our previous election laws were written kind of like Chicago gun laws. Those laws are probably enough to keep you and I from killing somebody if we visit Chicago because we have no desire to kill anybody, but they are no good against those who are willing to kill because one enters their turf and they know the law will not hold them accountable. One last thing, nothing says sacrifice more than going to Washington and becoming a super spreader of Covid. Democrats care so much about voting they are willing to infect people in Congress, the White House, and even those common peasants they run into along the way, they are willing to do this in order to make a stand, get on social media, and to be talked about on MSM. I wonder if, during their time of quarantine, they assess whether their followers really are as stupid as they think they are, only time will tell.
