Clamping Down

Finally, they are clamping down on the Trumpers! They are banning the leader of the movement, Trump, from social media accounts. Social media is shutting down any conversation that involves an election that was stolen or really anything that promotes the MAGA movement. MSM is promoting the destruction of opposing opinions. I have read replies to many people's posts saying none of this is censorship because it is being done by private companies. What is amazing to me is censorship has always been a foundational cause of liberals. If any of these platforms would have banned any conversations concerning the BLM/Antifa movement, the announcements of locations of protests/riots for those movements, or the language around defunding the police that actually did incite violence against police which resulted in the death of officers, the left would have gone nuts, even though those companies are private. Even if these social media sites would have flagged every post concerning Russian collusion as unverified there would have been lawsuits that would have been ruled on by liberal judges. The private company argument doesn't hold water because there are many laws in place that do not allow private companies to restrict Constitutional rights, or even those rights deemed Constitutional that really are not; these laws were demanded by the left. The clamp down by social media and MSM is only the tip of the iceberg because lawmakers are going to start clamping down on "Trumpers" as well. Unfortunately, the hatred of Trump, and for all who support him, has impaired the ability of anti-Trumpers to see that American citizens are being quieted, censored, restricted, and retaliated against only because of their opinions and beliefs. For some time, the extreme left has tried to do this, but even liberals stood up against it, but those days are in the past. How does the left convince American citizens this is ok? They tell them that Trump supporters are racist, white supremacists (even though Trump received more black votes than any Republican presidential candidate), are filled with hate, are violent, are treasonous, and are domestic terrorists, because they say such things American citizens say censorship is justified, clamping down on these villains is necessary, and demanding unity from these people by making them surrender to the left's beliefs is good. The thing every one of these American citizens forget when they encourage these restrictions is the "Trump worshipping" racists and white supremacist haters are their next door neighbors they have dinner with, they are the pastor of their church, they are the one that brings over dinner and leaves it at their door because they are in quarantine, they are the ones that teach and love their kids, they sit next to them at church every week, they are their co-workers who they share ideas with on a daily basis, and they are their parents who are funding them while they go to college even though their beliefs are totally opposite of how they were raised. These are the haters and white supremacists who are being clamped down on while those with opposing views are celebrating and agreeing that the evil people need to be quieted. Sadly, the rights being taken away are fundamental Constitutional rights, not entitlements or privileges, and when we become an America where we are ok, and even celebrate, Constitutional rights being restricted, no matter who is doing the restricting, based on political ideology, we become an America where every citizen's Constitutional rights can be taken away, we become an America where the call for unity will not heal our land because that unity equals the surrendering to the beliefs of others. Every American should be unified against these actions because these actions are necessary for cultivation of Socialism. Socialism arrives through an election and is secured through censorship and suppression.
