DAPL Pipeline
As these wealthy celebrities fly around on private jets, have huge homes, and drive multiple cars they are asking Biden to shut down the DAPL pipeline. I mention their wealth because they have received their wealth from making movies watched by people who would lose their jobs and will also face financial hardship because of the increase of oil prices that will come with these kinds of decisions. Every single day these people use fossil fuel that is transported through pipes. A pipeline is the most efficient and safest way of transporting oil. The only other option is to transport by rail and truck, and the oil has to be transported because shutting down the pipeline does not reduce demand it just increases the cost of the oil being delivered and creates much more emissions in the delivery process. I asked a person one day what is impacted when we are told we are going to shut down fossil fuels. The person replied fuel for automobiles and electricity generation. That person, who is a smart person, had no idea that fossil fuels impact almost every part of our lives, they did not realize everything in the room we were sitting in would look different without fossil fuels. If you do not understand how fossil fuels impact us, please do some research. The Democrats are not enacting climate change policies because they love the Earth and the people on it, they are enacting these policies to support and promote industries that promote and support Democrats; the government is picking which industries will be winners and losers.
