Imploding

It was just a short time ago that people watched a man campaign, or at least appear occasionally, from a basement, without ever saying anything that made cognitive sense. That man picked a running mate who was a complete failure in the Democratic primaries and handled tough situations with an immature and perplexing cackle. For those who actually did vote for this team, they had to be doing it with the thought that the worse that could happen is we would end up with a "do nothing" administration, or maybe an administration who passed some woke policies that would cost taxpayers a bunch of money. So, what was the big deal, it would only be for four years and at least the green new deal, illegal immigrant, pro-abortion, and transgender communities would get a win. But wait! These people never thought about this team having to speak on a world stage during a war with a nuclear powerhouse. These people never thought about the WH having to make the decision on who to send to Europe based on which would screw things up the least. Unfortunately, we have learned that they have to go deeper into the bench to find somebody to handle our foreign affairs because the President and VP are constantly saying "hold my beer" when people say there is no way it can be worse than that. It is like a competition to see who wins the dunce cap, but the competition is way more equally matched than an NCAA Women's swim meet.

Unfortunately, we have enjoyed freedom for so long that we have developed this false notion that we will always be guaranteed that freedom. We have forgotten that there are people out there who want to take our freedom and success away. As we have seen Presidents who are real statesmen say "tear down that wall" we have forgotten that there are some leaders in this world that are looking for the right moment to tear down ours. Those leaders are now thinking the short-sighted thinking of the American voter may have just given them that moment. In the words of our President, "For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power". Unfortunately, he was not looking in the mirror when he said it.
