Inflation Is Real Right Now

There is much discussion about whether there will be hyperinflation. We are past the point of wondering whether inflation will happen, because it is happening. The one way to keep people from focusing on what is currently happening is the MSM and the administration constantly disputing that it will happen; therefore, people leave the grocery store, the gas station, or even Amazon after paying way more than they did last year and wonder if inflation will really happen. When you hear the American public are victims of misinformation, this is a classic case. Inflation is not a futuristic thing it is real right now! I am not an economist but if you look at the price of Bitcoin today it is near $63,000. If I would have bought one Bitcoin a year ago, which I wasn't smart enough to do, I would be approximately $50,000 richer today. As with any commodity, the value of Bitcoin is continuing to climb because there is a limited amount of them. People can look at the number of Bitcoin out there and know if they want one, they have to spend a bunch of money, if they want to mine them, they have to spend an exorbitant amount of money. People are looking at the limited amount of them and think there is value to holding them, sort of like the football that represented the 600th TD pass of Tom Brady, there is only one and that $100 football is valued at $500K because there is only one. When we look at a labor report and see a shortage of workers, we know the cost of labor will go up. When we look at lower oil inventories, we know the price of oil will go up and so will everything else. When we see store shelves empty, we know those items that will eventually be put back on those shelves will be more expensive because there is less supply. When we see ships lined up at port, not being unloaded, we know the price of everything will go up because, if nothing more, emotionally people assume there will be a shortage of goods and will stock up. There is one thing that is going down in value and that is the US dollar. The reason for that is nobody knows what that supply will be because we have a government, especially this administration, who does not mind printing and injecting more dollars into the system. When there is an infinite supply of dollars put into the system the value of it drops as it does with any other commodity. One solution this administration offers is to pay for that dollar with "rich people's" dollars and corporation's dollars through taxation. Unfortunately, for many of us who do not consider themselves rich, we are rich in the eyes of a tax hungry government. A tax on anybody that invests in growth capital in our country is a tax on everybody in our country, both rich and poor. The hole is getting deeper, and this administration wants to keep on digging because they know if they get it deep enough a large portion of our population will become completely dependent on the lifeline dropped down by the Democratic party. Everything you see that you think is broken is not broken at all, it is functioning exactly like this administration wants it to. We should all hope that Manchin and Senema continue their stand against their own party, because, if they don't, we ain't seen nothing yet.
