Long-Turn Agenda

As most of you know, my daughter is Chinese. We were able to adopt Kathryn from China because of a very barbaric one-child policy. This policy lasted from 1980-2016. China's reason for this policy was to control population growth, but the interesting part is the babies that were abandoned and killed during this time were almost always girls or boys with disabilities. When we were in China, they said there would eventually be 50M men who would not be able to have wives because of a shortage of women. As I think about that and see the situation where China is quickly becoming the strongest military in the world, it makes me think there may have been more to this policy than population growth; there may have been another agenda to make use of those 50M single men with no family responsibilities. Future-changing agendas are slow moving because it takes a long time to change the direction of a whole nation. In this country, when I see the despair of the left over a ruling that moves a policy from our national government to state government, when I see the administration proposing bussing women to states with easy abortions, and when I hear the left say the SCOTUS is illegitimate because they overturned Roe v. Wade, something RBG said would one day happen because it was bad law, it makes me question what the long-turn agenda really is. There was a time, not many years ago, the left would say abortions were bad but necessary, now we are hearing the left shout their abortions with joy as if having an abortion is a heroic move. I believe this ruling is much bigger than "an attack on women" because it is really an attack on an agenda that was moving forward unimpeded. Any person who thinks the left machine is upset because an individual's right is taken away does not really understand the purpose of the left.
