The Democratic Establishment

If you are part of the Democratic establishment, how do you follow through on the promise to raise minimum wage to $15/hr? You use taxpayer dollars to pay people more to stay home than they can make going to work. Eventually, businesses start raising their prices in order to pay people enough money to hire them away from their sofas, because in order for business to exist they have to have employees. Once enough businesses do this, a higher minimum wage is established but the higher wage will not help people stay out of poverty because of higher prices, so then Democrats can say $15/hr is not a livable wage and there needs to be a higher wage and they will demand $20, they will pursue a stimulus package that pays people more to stay home than they can make at work which will result in a shortage of employees, employers will have to pay higher wages so they can hire people away from their sofas and a new higher minimum wage will be set which will cause prices will go up and Democrats will say the new higher minimum wage is not a livable wage and the process will start all over again. There is another option the Dems desire. Just take this country completely into socialism and hand the control of our economy over to people like AOC so that everybody except the political elite can be poor. Equity will have been accomplished! Then they will say "Let them eat cake!", but there will be a shortage of cake.
