What Has Happened

We read stories that just stop us in our tracks and just make us wonder what has happened to take us so far into darkness. There are people that probably look at some of the things I do and say and ask the same question, but I read the attached article and couldn't even believe it was allowed to be printed. I do not believe anybody reading this would think that it is ok for a child, let's say 10 yrs old, to be allowed to marry an adult, to be given the right to consensual sex with an adult or anybody else, be allowed to vote, to be allowed to take a vacation by themselves, to have a full-time job, to get a driver's license, to drink alcohol, or to have a child. None of these things are allowed because a 10 year old child is just that, a child, and does not have a knowledge base to be capable of making these kinds of decisions. On the other hand, the Texas law that says taking actions to prevent children from medically transitioning from their biological gender to their perceived gender is considered barbaric. There are two children I read about in this story who have "made the decision" to be transgender, one is 6 and the other is 15, but is states that Paxton visited the family about this 7 years ago. An 8 and 6 yr old are making decisions that will not just endanger them today but will change their lives forever. If they were in this story, you know these decisions were made well before the age talked about. THIS IS CHILD ABUSE! The children are incapable of making this decision, especially following through with them, so the parents have to be doing this. Children whose mothers probably will not allow them to pick out what they wear to school, should be allowed to medically change their genders or the state that prevents it is considered bigoted and barbaric. And we wonder what has happened to our country. One good thing in this story: this lady is moving from Texas to California.
