What Is Newsworthy

One of the strongest economies that has ever existed in our country has been devastated by COVID, but now it is roaring back, even with a large part of the country, especially the states ran by Democrats, still shutdown. Anytime there has ever been a recession, positive economic news has been screamed from the mountaintops. Media, no matter their political leaning, has shared that news to offer hope to our citizens. Now we have a MSM that consists of organizations that do not even consider the largest GDP growth in the history of our nation newsworthy, they are a media that feels that a politician exposed for selling influence to the world should not be reported at all, and they feel like negative news about the deaths of COVID, rather than how we move forward with the existence of it, is the only thing that is newsworthy. Both, those who support Trump and those who do not, know what is happening. We realize that MSM and social media have become a tool of the state and is on the path to being no different than the media in every socialist country in the world. Trump supporters are outraged and anti-Trumpers are satisfied. We should all be horrified and we should all recognize the slippery slope on which our country has found itself. The product of the MSM is not just words spoken by pompous and arrogant celebrities, it is information and the only information many people receive. What happens to a free country when there is no true history because some of that history is offensive to a few, when freedom and equality for all is considered divisive because advantages are not given to certain groups, when openly disagreeing with certain lifestyles gets you labeled as phobic and your business ruined, when we watch cities burned and lives destroyed all in the name of justice for the death of somebody who was trying to bring death to police officers, when murderers are not blamed for murder but the gun they use is, when it is declared the fight against climate change and COVID has to adhere to science, but only certain science, yet the science that determines whether a human being is a male or female must be ignored, and a presidential candidate promises to change the law so that an 8yr. old can be the one to determine whether that science should be ignored, and all of this happens because a free press is allowed to propagate all information in a way that is molded to meet their agenda. The answer is easy, that nation loses its freedom, gives it away, and the citizens do not even realize it because they only know the lie due to the truth being banished so long ago. I am praying, and believing, that Trump can prevent us from completely slipping all the way down that slope, but it is only temporary because socialism is not caused by the politicians who are pushing it, it is caused by the ignorant, apathetic citizens who allow it.
