What's the Difference?

I have seen some of the events that went on in DC today. One thing that took place is large amounts of people showed up in support of Trump who practiced their first amendment right to peacefully protest without causing any problems at all. People who protested peacefully were much bigger supporters of Trump than those who committed violent acts. I will be curious to see if all that we were shown and told will end up being what it appeared to be. One of the things that does amaze me is that for months we have seen politicians and people in MSM media praise the rioters and looters who committed theft, assaults, killings, and destruction of businesses as people practicing their right to protest. They have claimed they were mostly peaceful protests while buildings burned in the background. They have refused to call them thugs. What is the difference between those acts and the ones we witnessed today? Those acts over the last few months have been against the people that live in those neighborhoods, have been against those businesses that employ people and produce goods. Today's acts were in Congress and against politicians. It is amazing how little value we put on "normal citizens" lives and how much value we put on our elite politicians. I say all this in complete opposition to what I saw reported from the Halls of congress today just as I was opposed to the rioting and the looting. I am just simply pointing out the how different it is when the politicians are having to fear the same thing as those people who lost everything.
